Now located on 1st street, Calcutta Cricket Club serves West Bengal-influenced cuisine that represents the region’s complex geography, history and culture. Calcutta has seen waves of influence, from it’s Mughal origins, to the influence of the British Raj, and the more recent influence from Chinese “Hakka” and Jewish bakeries. Modern-day Calcutta cuisine is heavily influenced by it’s vast migrant communities, who bring dishes from all over India. CCC draws inspiration all the way from these humble migrant street-food stalls to legendary brick-and-mortar clubs, and finally from family recipes that have been passed down from generations.
