THE PORT CITY OF HAIFA has been home to Arabs and Jews living and working alongside each other for centuries. In this spirit of co-existence, close friends and seasoned restaurateurs from both Palestinian and Jewish backgrounds, Fadi Hakim, Yossi Mizrachi, Waseem Dabdoub, Mark Kupfert and Daniel Suss came together to open the Haifa Room in Toronto in 2021. 2 years later they ventured to Vancouver, to open a grander, more elevated love-letter to the cuisine they grew up with. It is called HAIFA.
